Berrington Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Service Connection Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80004, Berrington Street, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80004, Berrington Street, Hereford, from junction with St Nicholas Street northwards for approx 60 m. Grid Ref: 350768/239823.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via St Nicholas Street onto the A49 onto West Street onto Aubrey Street onto Little Berrington Street.

The said closure is required due to new service connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 14 days.
