RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Nant y moel wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi creu Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno’r cyfyngiad dros dro a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.

Mae'r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd am nad yw’r lôn gerbydau yn ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau wrth i’r gwaith brys fynd rha g ddo i drwsio’r ffos.

Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 13/01/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn hirach na 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf.

Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 09:30 a 15:30 o 13/01/202 5 i 10/02/202 5

Atodlen Ni chaiff unrhyw berson beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd yr A4061 o droad twll y clo i'r gyffordd â'r A4107. 

Bydd y llwybr amgen i gerbydau ar hyd yr A4061 Nant y moel, A4061 Lewistown, A4061 Melin Ifan Ddu, A4093 Melin Ifan Ddu, A4093 Glynogwr, A4093 Gilfach Goch, A4119 Tonyrefail, A4058 Y Porth, A4058 Llwynypia, A4058 Treorci, A4061 Mynydd y Bwlch ac i'r gwrthwyneb.

Bydd mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu a’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans wrth ymateb i argyfyngau. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir gydol y cyfnod cau. 

Fodd bynnag, bydd

y cyfyngiad ond yn berthnasol ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

Bridgend County Borough Council

(A4061 Bwlch Mountain, Nantymoel)

Temporary Traffic Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Nantymoel in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) have made an Order which temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. 

The Order is in the interest of public safety due to insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during urgent works to repair culvert. 

The Order will come into force on 13/01/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:30am and 15:30pm from the 13/01/2025 to 10/02/2025. 

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along A4061 from Keyhole bend to junction with A4107. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via A4061 Nantymoel, A4061 Lewistown, A4061 Blackmill, A4093 Blackmill, A4093 Glynogwr, A4093 Gilfach Goch, A4119 Tonyrefail, A4058 Porth/A4058 Llwynypia, A4058 Treorchy, A4061 Bwlch Mountain and vice versa. 

Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. 

The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
