intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those
lengths of Addison Road, Auckland Road, Pym Road and
College Road at Mexborough in the City of Doncaster District
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public
and the workforce whilst works to gas mains replacement
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to
this notice.

confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the
Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public
footpath running from grid reference SE 64863 01222 northnorth-westwards for approximately 9 metres through the
curtilage of 28 Main Street to Dursley Court at grid reference
SE 6486 0123 to a line running from grid reference SE 64863
01222 westwards for approximately 6 metres to Dursley Court
at grid reference SE 64857 01222, as shown on the
order map.

On the 8th day of January 2025, City of Doncaster Council
confirmed the above order made under section 326 of the
Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to vary The Doncaster
Borough Council Public Footpath No 6 Barnby Dun Public
Path Diversion Order 2003 so as to divert the public footpath
running from Station Road at grid reference SE 6182 0893
and proceeding south-westerly for some 294 metres to grid
reference SE 6158 0876, thence southerly for some 84
metres to grid reference SE 6158 0867, to a line running from
Station Road at grid reference SE 6183 0892 and proceeding
south-westerly for some 39 metres to cross over Town End
Drain at grid reference SE 6181 0888, thence south-southwesterly for some 79 metres to grid reference SE 6177 0881,
thence south-westerly along the field edge for some 240
metres to grid reference SE 6158 0867, as shown on the
2024 order map.

and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of
