Horsham Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic in Horsham Road, Bexleyheath from the junction with Highfield Road to outside 46 Horsham Road, Bexleyheath.

    • Waiting restriction and loading prohibition from the junction with Highfield Road to outside 46 Horsham Road, Bexleyheath.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 13 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.

    Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

    • Midhurst Hill, Petworth Road, Horsham Road and reversed.

  3. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  4. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic in Martens Close, Bexleyheath from the junction with Martens Avenue to the end of the road.

    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition from the junction with Martens Avenue to the end of the road (both sides of the carriageway).

  2. The Order will come into effect on 14 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative route will be available; however, access to be always maintained.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Heathside Avenue, Bexleyheath - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic in Heathside Avenue at the junction with Hudson Road, Bexleyheath.

    • Waiting restriction and loading prohibition in Heathside Avenue at the junction with Hudson Road, Bexleyheath (both sides of the carriageway).

  2. The Order will come into effect on 10 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress an alternative route will be via:

    • Pickford Lane, Hamilton Road, Stanhope Road, Heathside Avenue, and reverse.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

    • Waiting restriction and loading prohibition from the junction with Carlton Road to the junction with Riverdale Road, Erith (both sides of the carriageway).

  2. The Order will come into effect on 13 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 nights.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

    • Brook Street, Belmont Road, Bedonwell Road, Nuxley Road, Albert Road, Woolwich Road, Erith Road.

    • Erith Road, Nuxley Road, Bedonwell Road, Belmont Road, Brook Street.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Morrison Water Service to undertake their water mains replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic on Ashburnham Road, Belvedere from the junction with Battle Road to the junction with Parkside Road, Belvedere.

    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition from the junction with Battle Road to the junction with Parkside Road, Belvedere.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 16 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 97 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be provided; however, there will be access for emergency vehicles.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) in Cray Road from the junction with Watery Lane to the junction with Sidcup Hill, Sidcup.

    • No waiting, no loading (parking restrictions) in Cray Road from the junction with Watery Lane to the junction with Sidcup Hill, Sidcup.

    • Removal of the weight limit restriction in Foots Cray High Street.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 20 January 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 nights.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

    • Foots Cray High Street – Maidstone Road – Edgington Way – Crittalls Corner and reverse.

    • Sidcup Hill – Sidcup High Street – Elm Road – Chislehurst Road – Sidcup By Pass (A20) – Crittalls Corner and reverse.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
