What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE U6870 HELIONS BUMPSTEAD ROAD, HAVERHILL
Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary 40 mph speed restriction on the U6870 Helions Bumpstead Road, Haverhill from the junction with the A1017 for 630 metres southbound to alleviate congestion on an official diversion route.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that this measure will operate from 09/01/2025 -23/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF Traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7120 ROAD FROM THE 7114 TO THE COUNTY BOUNDARY, COWLINGE
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U7120 road from the 7114 to the County Boundary, Cowlinge from Thrift Cottage for 70 metres northbound to facilitate the replacement of a telecommunications pole.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bradley Road, Kirtling, Mill Road, Cowlinge Road, Newmarket Road, Bradley Road, Cowlinge and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/01/2025 -10/01/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Road Traffic Management Ltd. Tel: 07506 534007.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C484 MILL GREEN, STONHAM ASPALL
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C484 Mill Green, Stonham Aspall from April Cottage for 50 metres southbound to facilitate access to telegraph poles.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1120,the B1077, Gracechurch Street, Stowmarket Road, Debenham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/01/2025 from 9.30am - 2.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Sunbelt Rentals. Tel: 0370 050 0792.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1070 BENTON STREET, HADLEIGH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1070 Benton Street, Hadleigh from no. 122 to the junction with Priory Meadows to facilitate gas works.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1070, the A12, the A1214, the A1071, the B1070 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 18/01/2025 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TMO Highways Limited. Tel: (01379) 676462.
