What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

(NELSON STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Utilities intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Nelson Street from its junction with Clifton Street to Exeter Street for a distance of approximately 36 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Hanover Street, Park Road, Clifton Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st January 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(STAINLAND ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from its junction with Drury Lane to Laurel Cottage for a distance of approximately 85 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via New Hey Road, Lindley Moor Road, Calderdale Way, Elland Riorges Link, Briggate, Saddleworth Road.

It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on

27th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th January 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(WARLEY WOOD LANE, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Warley Wood Lane from its junction with Burnley Road to

No. 10 Warley Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 620 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Burnley Road, John Naylor Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th January 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 07:00 & 17:00.

(MARSDEN GATE, SOWOOD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Marsden Gate from 95m away from entrance to Forest Hill Road to 190m away from Quarry Side House for a distance of approximately 81 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Marsden Gate, New Hey Road, Gosport Lane, Forest Hill Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st January 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
