What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 402414 THE SPLATT

(FRAMPTON ON SEVERN PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 402414 The Splatt Road, from its junction with the road from Wall Cottage to Splatt Bridge to the end of the line, for a distance of approximately 250 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safe access for telecommunication works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 13th January 2025 until 15th January 2025 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.

Alternative Route – n/a (dead end road). Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C212 CASHES GREEN ROAD

(CAINSCROSS PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C212 Cashes Green Road, from its junction with Westward Road to outside the property known as ‘Number 24’, for a distance of approximately 110 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for manhole repair and replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 20:00hrs on 15th January 2025 until 06:00hrs on 16th January 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A46 BATH ROAD ROUNDABOUT

(STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A46 Bath Road roundabout, from its junction with High Street as known as ‘No. 7’ to its junction with Wallbridge, for a distance of approximately 120 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for manhole repair and replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 20th January 2025 until 06:00hrs on 27th January 2025 or until the works have been completed.

(A419, CHIPMANS PLATT ROUNDABOUT TO MOTORWAY)

(PARISH OF EASTINGTON) (STROUD DISTRICT) (VARIATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed waiting restrictions detailed in the Schedule below:

The length of road falls within the Parish of Eastington within the Stroud District in the County of Gloucestershire

(NAILSWORTH TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C265 Road Junction with the 300265 Box to George Street, from its junction with the A46 Bath Road to its junction with the Hillside, for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safe access for works by National Grid.

The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 13th January 2025, where the presence of appropriately signed advance signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501447 Shiptons Grave Lane Road, Barton End, from outside the property known as ‘Barton End Manor’ to outside the property known as ‘The Retreat’, for a distance of approximately 250 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
