What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(B3017 SWINLEY ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025.

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along: a) B3017 Swinley Road, Bracknell between Lavender Park Golf Club and A329 London Road.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via B3017 Swinley Road, A332 Kings Ride, A329 London Road and this route reversed. The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Affinity Water complete a new water connection to the existing infrastructure.

The Order came into operation on the 06th January 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. It is currently planned that the closure will be in place between 06th January 2025 -17th January 2025

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
