Allington Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - ALLINGTON LANE, FAIR OAK & HORTON HEATH, EASTLEIGH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Allington Lane between its junction with May Close and its junction with Clementine Way.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Fair Oak Road, Eastleigh Road, Botley Road, Bubb Lane, Tollbar Way, Botley Road, High Street, Swaythling Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 22nd January 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 7th February 2025, this order will be in operation for 24 hours a day).
