(Littleton Road, Aust) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Littleton Road which extends from Jubilee Way southwards for 178m.
This order is required for the following reason: in connection with pole replacement works.
The order will be operative from 7 February 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 day duration, between 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Alternative route: Village Road, The Green, Stock Lane, Stock Hill, Kington Hill, Mumbleys Lane, B4401, Littleton Road and vice versa.
(King Lane, Horton) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of King Lane which extends from Wood Lane north eastwards for 750m.
This order is required for the following reason: in connection with pole replacement works.
The order will be operative from 5 February 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 day duration, between 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Alternative route: King Lane, Church Lane, Upper Chalkley Lane, Horton Hill, King Lane and vice versa.
(Gipsy Patch Lane, Little Stoke) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Gipsy Patch Lane which extends from Station Road westwards for 30m.
This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon bridge inspection works on or adjacent to the highway.
The order will be operative from 5 February 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 night duration, between 9pm to 5am.
Alternative route: A38, A4174, B4058, B4057.
(North Road, Yate) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of North Road which extends from a point 230m south of Armstrong Way southwards for 30m.
This order is required for the following reason: in connection with bridge inspection works.
The order will be operative from 3 February 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 night duration, between 9pm to 5am.
Alternative route: Armstrong Way, Yate Road, Stover Road, Badminton Road, North Road and vice versa.
(Horton Hill, Horton) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Horton Hill which extends from a point 267m south east of King Lane south eastwards for 130m.
This order is required for the following reason: in connection with manhole cover repair works.
The order will be operative from 3 February 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 days duration, between 8am and 4pm.
Alternative route: Horton Road, Portway Lane, St Johns Way, Badminton Road, Tetbury Road, A46 Stroud Road, Little Sodbury End Lane, New Tyning Lane, Horton Hill (parts unaffected) and vice versa.
South Gloucestershire Council (Footpath Och 17 and Och 18 Wickwar Quarry, Charfield) Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the provisions of Article 2 of the above order made on 2 October 2024 and confirmed on 27 November 2024 have now been complied with. The order became operative from 12 December 2024.
