Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
A229 Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge & A229 Taddington Roundabout, Chatham, ME5 9NJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow survey works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of A229 Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge & A229 Taddington Roundabout, Chatham, on or after 13th January 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
A229 Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge will be closed from the A229 Lord Lees Roundabout to A229 Taddington Roundabout, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
A229 Taddington Roundabout will be closed entirely only allowing access to diversion traffic, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any non-motorway through traffic is via A229 Lord Lees Roundabout, Bridgewood Roundabout, Walderslade Woods, A229 Jct 3 Interchange A2045 Link.
The alternative route for any London-bound motorway through traffic approaching from A229 Bluebell Hill is via A229 Lord Lees Roundabout, Bridgewood Roundabout, Walderslade Woods, A229 J3 Interchange A2045 Link, M2 Jct 3 Slip Road Westbound, M2 Jct 3 to Jct 4, M2 Jct 4 Slip Road, A278 M2 Jct Roundabout, M2 Jct 4 Slip Road, M2 Jct 4 to Jct 3.
Ash Lane, Stansted, TN15 7EG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ash Lane, Stansted, on or after 13th January 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside the Woodlands Garden Centre, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ash Lane, Stansted Lane, A20 London Road and vice versa.
Ashes Lane, Hadlow, TN11 0AN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ashes Lane, Hadlow, on or after 31st January 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Foxglove, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, A26 Cornwallis Avenue, A26 Hadlow Road, Yardley Park Road, A227 Shipbourne Road, Higham Lane, Ashes Lane and vice versa.
Blackmans Lane & Three Elm Lane, Hadlow (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow gas main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Blackmans Lane & Three Elm Lane, Hadlow, on or after 3rd February 2025 for up to 67 days or until the works have been completed.
Blackmans Lane will be closed between the junction of Three Elm Lane and the Water Treatment works. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Three Elm Lane will be restricted to 30mph between the junction of Blackmans Lane and Hartlake Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Blackmans Lane through traffic is via Blackmans Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, Three Elm Lane and vice versa.
Chapel Street, Ryarsh, ME19 5LW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow sewer connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chapel Street, Ryarsh, on or after 27th January 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Straits. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Chapel Street, The Street, Workhouse Road and vice versa.
Gighill Road, Larkfield, ME20 6UT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow mains replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Gighill Road, Larkfield, on or after 20th January 2025 for up to 22 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Chaucer Way and Lunsford Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lunsford Lane, Leybourne Way, Gighill Road and vice versa.
King Street, West Malling, ME19 6HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water meter replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of King Street, West Malling, on or after 27th January 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 18. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via King Street, High Street, West Street, King Street and vice versa.
Lyons Crescent, Tonbridge, TN9 1HG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lyons Crescent, Tonbridge, on or after 13th January 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junction of High Street and number 2. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2260 High Street, A227 Bordyke, B2021 East Street, Lyons Crescent and vice versa.
Mote Road, Shipbourne, TN11 9QD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new electric connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mote Road, Shipbourne, on or after 27th January 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Little Budd’s Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mote Road, High Cross Road, A227 Tonbridge Road, Hildenborough Road, Mote Road and vice versa.
Nizels Lane, Hildenborough, TN11 8NW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Nizels Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 27th January 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Home Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Nizels Lane, Philpots Lane, Rings Hill, Watts Cross Road, B245 London Road, Nizels Lane and vice versa.
Park Road, West Peckham, TN11 9SW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Road, West Peckham, on or after 29th January 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Artichoke. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Park Road, Oxenhoath Road, Hamptons Road and vice versa.
Taylors Lane, Trottiscliffe, ME19 5ER (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Taylors Lane, Trottiscliffe, on or after 13th January 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junction of Pilgrims Way and White Clouds. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Vigo Hill, A227 Gravesend Road, A20 London Road, A20 Wrotham Heath Roundabout, A20 London Road, Trottiscliffe Road, Addington Lane, Taylors Lane and vice versa.
