What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – BURLEY ROAD, BROCKENHURST, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Burley Road between its junction with South Weirs and continuing to a point 1300M Southwest on Burley Road. 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Rhinefield Road, Rhinefield Ornamental Drive, A35, Wootton Bridge

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 6th January 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Tuesday 25th February, this order will be in operation for 24 hours a day). 

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for 4 Site Power and Fibre Networks to reduce road width below legal standard. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: office@4spfn.com
