TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2025
On the 13 December 2024 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises to restrict vehicular access on Malletsheugh Road Rural, Newton Mearns, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway resurfacing works scheduled to be carried from Monday 20 January until Friday 7 February 2025.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Diversion Route: Ayr Road – Barrhead Road – Aurs Road – Stewarton Road and Vice Versa.
