Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2207 Old Hollow, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2207 Old Hollow from its junction with U63544 Old Hollow to its junction with U63545 Old Hollow.
Reason: Safe working for pole testing by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2207 Old Hollow (part), B4219 Cowleigh Road, B4232 North Malvern Road, B4232 West Malvern Road, C2207 Old Hollow (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 31 January 2025.
(U61206 Hyde Lane, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U61206 Hyde Lane from its junction with Hydefields (NSG Ref 24406892) for a distance of 80 metres in a north westerly direction.
Reason: Telecomms Utility Works by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U61206 Greenfields Road, A4104 Welland Road, U61416 Hook Bank, C2099 Hook Bank, C2099 Hook Common, U61206 Hyde Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 28 January 2025.
(U63113 Albert Road South, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63113 Albert Road South from its junction with U63114 Clarence Road for a distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U63114 Clarence Road, U63111 Priory Road, U63111 Woodshears Road, U63113 Albert Road South (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.
(U63551 Park Road, West Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63551 Park Road from its junction with B4232 West Malvern Road to its junction with U63550 De Walden Road.
Reason: Replacement edging and kerbs by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4232 West Malvern Road, U66407 Harcourt Road, U63550 Blackheath Way, U63551 Park Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 29 January 2025.
(U63106 Thirlstane Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U63106 Thirlstane Road from its junction with Percy Walton Close (NSG Ref. 24411145) for a distance of 70 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Bridgework maintenance by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
No access for emergency services, the diversion route must be followed.
Alternative route: U63106 Thirlstane Road (part), U63105 College Road, U63103 Priory Road, U63111 Woodshears Road, U63110 Court Road, U63106 Thirlstane Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.
(U64212 Weather Lane, Astley Burf) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U64212 Weather Lane from its junction with U64211 Astley Burf to its junction with U64212 Bull Hill.
Reason: To provide safe working for overhead fibre cabling works by BT.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U64212 Bull Hill, B4196 Astley, U64211 Astley, U64211 Astley Burf and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 8 January 2025.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(B4503 Lower Interfields, Leigh) (Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) Order) 2025
Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of B4503 Lower Interfields from its junction with U62262 Chapel Close for a distance of 295 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: Development works by RM Contractors Ltd. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 27 January 2025.
