What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Stallard Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with A363 for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out overhead cabling on existing poles and associated works. Alternative route via Newtown (unaffected length) - Frome Road - A361 - A363 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 February 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 12:00 for 1 day. B) Paul Street (Part), Corsham; from its junction with B3353 to its property known as No.14 Paul Street to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer line repair works and other associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 27 January 2025 and the closure will be required until 14 February 2025. C) C214 (Part), Monkton Farleigh and South Wraxall; from outside its property known as Rushmead House to outside its property known as Rushmead Farm to enable Openreach to carry out replacement of old pole and associated works. Alternative route via C214 (unaffected length) - B3109 - C215 - C213 - C214 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 January 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: D) High Street (Part), Bromham; from its northern junction with Mintys Top to its junction with Breach Close to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out works to lay a new customer service and other associated works. Alternative route via High Street (unaffected length) - New Road - Hawkstreet - A342 -Highfield - The Pound - Horsepool - High Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. E) Greater Lane (Part), Edington; from its junction with B3098 for a distance of approximately 100m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection and associated works. Alternative route via Greater Lane (unaffected length) - C49 - B3098 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 06 January 2025 and the closure will be required for 3 days. F) Bradford Road (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Limpley Stoke Road to outside its property known as St Nicholas Church to enable Gigaclear to carry out access to underground network and associated works. Alternative route via Bradford Road (unaffected length) - C391 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 08 January 2025 and the closure will be required for 3 days. H) Dursley Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Studley Rise to outside its property known as No.54 Dursley Road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out provision of new customer service and associated works. Alternative route via Dursley Road (unaffected length) - Rutland Crescent - A363 - Wiltshire Drive - Dyrnham Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation at 09:30 on 07 January 2025 and the closure will be required for 4 days. For further information please contact Wales & West Utilities on 02920102441 option 2. Orders A) to H) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: Restricted Byway 15 (Part), Heytesbury; from its junction with Cotley Place to its property known as No.20 Newtown to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out ducting and associated works. Alternative route via Restricted Byway 15 (unaffected length) - C272 -Chapel Road - Newtown and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 27 January 2025 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 for 5 days. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months. SECTION 16(A) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C273 (Part), Corsley and Longbridge Deverill; from its junction with C270 to its junction with Dry Hill. B) UC 854205 (Part), Longbridge Deverill and Warminster; from its junction with C273 to its junction with A36 to enable filming on location. Alternative route via A36 - A362 - C270 and vice versa. The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 06 January 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 for 2 days. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the closure. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all users: A) Bridleway 10 (Part), Corsley; from its junction with The Stalls for a distance of approximately 500m in a south westerly direction. B) Restricted Byway 14 (Part), Longbridge Deverill; from a point 45m from its junction with Clay Street for a distance of approximately 185m in a south easterly direction. C) Restricted Byway 1 (Part), Maiden Bradley with Yarnfield; from its junction with Frome Road for a distance of approximately 500m in a south westerly direction to enable Fell over mature trees and chip wood brash, tree felling, timber stacking and brash chipping into articulated lorries/HGVs and surface works. No alternative routes available. This Order will come into operation on 01 February 2025 and the closures will be required until 02 May 2025. Alternative route D) via Footpath 4A, Heywood - Footpath 9, Heywood - Footpath 5, Heywood - Church Road - Footpath 3, Heywood (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route E) via Footpath 8, Heywood - Footpath 9, Heywood - Footpath 5A, Heywood - Footpath 6, Heywood (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route via Footpath 16, Bradford on Avon (unaffected length) - Footpath 28, Bradford on Avon - Belcombe Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 06 January 2025 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 10 January 2025.
