(Crest Avenue & Halstow Way, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crest Avenue & Halstow Way, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from the junction with Manor Avenue to the junction with Appleford Court a distance of approximately 200m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th January 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2368739 & EP201EH2368742 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Crest Avenue, Rectory Road, Halstow Way and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 9th January 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Gardiners Lane North, Ramsden Crays) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gardiners Lane North, Ramsden Crays in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with North Road to its junction with Bury Farm Lane a distance of approximately 890m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th January 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2378187 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Gardiners Lane North, Southend Arterial Road, Nevendon Road Roundabout, Nevendon Road Bypass, A132 Roundabout Nevendon Road, Golden Jubilee Way, London Road Roundabout, London Road, Gardiners Lane North or Gardiners Lane North, London Road, Crays Hill, Hardings Elms Road, Pipps Hill Road North and Southend Arterial Road.
The Order will come into effect on 9th January 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Gardiners Lane North, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gardiners Lane North, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with North Road to its junction with South Road a distance of approximately 205m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th January 2025 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30062074496 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
Alternative routes are available via:
1. Gardiners Lane North, London Road, Crays Hill, Hardings Elms Road, Pipps Hill Road North, Southend Arterial Road.
2. Southend Arterial Road, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A127 To A132 Eastbound, Nevendon Road Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A132 To A127 Westbound, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A127
To Upper Mayne Westbound, Upper Mayne, Noak Hill Road Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From Noak Hill Road A127 Eastbound. The Order will come into effect on 9th January 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Robert Way, Shotgate) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Robert Way, Shotgate in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 90m north west of its junction with Hodgson Way for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st January 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2379210 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Robert Way, Russell Gardens and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 9th January 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Chase, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Chase, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Leslie Road to its junction with Eastwood Road a distance of approximately 170m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th January 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2375591 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Leslie Road, Trinity Road, Eastwood Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 9th January 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon & City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.1) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon & City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. "The Essex County Council (Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 9th January 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.
