Ar 3 Ionawr 2025 gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio neu yrru ar hyd Rhodfa’r Gamlas o bwynt 117 metr o’r gyffordd â Heol Dumballs tua’r gogledd am 210 metr.

Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar y briffordd neu gerllaw, a disgwylir iddo fod mewn grym o ddydd Llun 6 Ionawr 2025 tan ddydd Gwener 28 Chwefror 2025 neu nes i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau.

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

Caniateir mynediad i fusnesau. Bydd hyn yn cael ei reoli ar y safle gan gontractwyr.

Enw’r Gorchymyn fydd “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Rhodfa’r Gamlas, Caerdydd) (Cau Dros Dro) 2024”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF
(CANAL PARADE, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

On 3rd January 2025, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent vehicles from using or proceeding along Canal Parade from a point 117 metres from its junction with Dumballs Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 210 metres.

The Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and is expected to be in operation from Monday 6th January 2025 until Friday 28th February 2025 or until works are complete.

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

Access for businesses will be permitted. This will be managed on site by contractors.

The Order is known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Canal Parade, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024”.
