Putley Green, Temporary Road Closure Due To Drainage Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1303 Putley Green To Woolhope Cockshoot, Putley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1303 Putley Green To Woolhope Cockshoot, Putley, from Putley Post Office, then westwards for approximately 100 metres. Grid Ref: 365106/237579.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1303 onto the C1304, onto The Sheepcote, onto the C1305 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th of January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
