C272 Broomley to Bywell Stocksfield - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Works

C272 BROOMLEY TO BYWELL STOCKSFIELD (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C272 Broomley To Bywell Stocksfield from its junction with the U8113 Broomley Junction to Old Ridley Junction heading northwards for a distance of 62 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th January 2025 until the 24th January 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 14th January 2025 until the 15th January 2025 between the hours of 08:30 and 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th January 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C273, A68, A695, C272 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Dutton Traffic Management to carry out telecom pole maintenance works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
