What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd mewn grym o 13/01/2025 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r rhan honno o B5102 Ffordd Llai, Llai o’i chyffordd gyda First Avenue i’w chyffordd gyda Pinfold Lane, i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain am bellter o 148 metr fel y gall Lewis & Hunter i roi wyneb newydd ar y ffordd ar ran Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam.

Y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n cael eu heffeithio gan gau’r ffordd yw ar hyd B5425 Ffordd Newydd Llai, Ffordd Plas Acton, Bluebell Lane, A483 Cyffordd 6 i A483 Cyffordd 7, B5102 Ffordd Llai, B5102 Bryn Croeshywel, B5102 Y Ffilltir Syh, a B5102 Ffordd Llai, a bydd arwyddion i ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Mae disgwyl i’r gwaharddiad bara am 8 diwrnod gwaith, neu nes bo’r gwaith wedi’i gwblhau’n gynt, ond dim mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 13/01/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of B5102 Llay Road, Llay from its junction with First Avenue to its junction with Pinfold Lane, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 148 metres to enable Lewis & Hunter to resurface the carriageway on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via B5425 Llay New Road, Plas Acton Road, Bluebell Lane, A483 Junction 6 to A483 Junction 7, B5102 Llay Road, B5102 Croeshowel Hill, B5102 Straight Mile, and B5102 Llay Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 8 working days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
