(U47008 Holloway, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U47008 Holloway from its junction with U47009 Holloway Drive to its junction with U47011 Allesborough Drive,
Reason: New water main installation by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U47008 Holloway (part), A4104 Three Springs Road, B4084 Worcester Road, C2056 Besford Bridge, U47008 Holloway (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 6 January 2025.
(U45234 Synehurst Crescent, Badsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U45234 Synehurst Crescent from its junction with C2048 Synehurst to its junction with U45232 Manor Close.
Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2048 Synehurst, B4035 Badsey Road, U45234 Synehurst Crescent (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 8 January 2025.
(Link Footpath F40546 Dawes Road (fronting Nos. 87-96, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F40546 Dawes Road (fronting Nos. 87-96) from its junction with C2275 Davies Road to its junction with U44639 Forest Gate.
Reason: To provide safe working during excavation work in order to provide customer service by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2275 Davies Road, U44639 Forest Gate and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 9 January 2025.
(U44206 Canada Bank, Charlton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44206 Canada Bank from its junction with U44204 Top Street to its junction with B4084 Pershore Road.
Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U44206 Canada Bank (part), U44206 The Strand, C2022 Church Leys, C2022 Main Street, C2022 Brook Lane, B4084 Main Road, B4084 Pershore Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.
(U45209 Grange Road, Bretforton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U45209 Grange Road from its junction with U45210 Ivy Lane to its junction with U45208 Clayfield Road.
Reason: Installation of dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U45210 Ivy Lane, C2047 Station Road, U45208 Clayfield Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:3 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.
(Link Footpath F40584 Cherry Close (between No 11/16) Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F40584 Cherry Close (between No 11/16) from its junction with U44633 Cherry Close for a distance of 22 metres in a north westerly direction.
Reason: Footpath Reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U44633 Cherry Close, U44630 Hawthorn Road, U44632 Almond Close, Link Footpath F40518 Rowan Close (between No 12/14), unnamed Footpath and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.
(U44561 The Squires (adjacent footway only), Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U44561 The Squires (adjacent footway only) from its junction with U44561 The Squires to its junction with A44 Manor Farm Roundabout.
Reason: Replacement water main by Severn Trent Water – AC Infra Clean.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: No diversion - footway only.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 46 days (24hrs). Commencing: 6 January 2025.
(Link Footpath F40542 Woodlands (fronting No. 2-24), Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F40542 Woodlands (fronting No. 2-24) from its junction with Link Footpath F40542 Dawes Road (side 22 Woodlands) for a distance of 24 meters in a north easterly direction.
Reason: New ducting in footpath by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U44666 Woodlands, Link Footpath F40542 Woodlands (fronting No. 2-24) (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 29 January 2025.
(C2012 Throckmorton Road, Throckmorton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2012 Throckmorton Road from its junction with A44 Evesham Road to its junction with C2012 The Lea.
Reason: Kerbing and verge works by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A44 Evesham Road, B4082 Main Street, B4082 Upton Snodsbury, C2270 Long Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.
(U44522 Castle Street, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester (Castle Street, Evesham) (One-Way) Order 1966 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44522 Castle Street from its junction with B4035 Port Street to its junction with U44523 Lower Leys and to temporarily suspend The County of Worcester (Castle Street, Evesham) (One-Way) Order 1966 to allow access to residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Safe working to allow engineers to access underground structure by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4035 Port Street, U44524 Burford Road, U44523 Lower Leys.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(B4082 Main Street, Pinvin) (No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2024
On 19 December 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping at any time on School Keep Clear Markings on the following lengths and sides of roads in Pinvin:-
B4082 Main Street, Pinvin (West side): from a point 79 metres northeast of its junction with Spion Kop for a distance of 143 metres in a north easterly direction. The Order will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes.
The Order will come into operation on 9 January 2025.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcestershire County Council, Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(District of Wychavon - Non-urban area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on B4085 Station Road, Blackminster]
On 19 December 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following side and length of road in Blackminster:-B4085 Station Road, Blackminster (West side): From a point 184 metres south of the access road to Blackminster Middle School for a distance of 44 metres in a southerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/ access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 9 January 2025.

(A44 Evesham Road, Fladbury) (Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A44 Evesham Road from its junction with C2012 Throckmorton Road for a distance of 100 meters in an easterly direction until A44 Evesham Road roundabout.
Reason: Replacement water main by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days (24hrs). Commencing: 27 January 2025.
