Sackville Street, Bradford - Temporary Road Closure due to Construction Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SACKVILLE STREET, BRADFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Sackville Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Sackville Street from its junction with Mawson Court to its junction with Sunbridge Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Sackville Street (unaffected section), Westgate, Godwin Street, Prince's Way, Manchester Road, Senior Way, Manchester Road, Prince's Way, Godwin Street, Sunbridge Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 13th January 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 15th January 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
