GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 6th January 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This Order permits the closure and restriction of the said roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 4th July 2025. Alternative Route – N/A. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS CWE 32, CWE 6, CWE 7
(WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to temporarily close under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of the footpaths as detailed in the Schedule below.

The closure is necessary to enable the public due to Geotechnical repairs works.
Alternative Route – As signed on site. A plan of the paths shall be marked like grid ref H to A to I to J and K and signed on site. Pedestrian and emergency access to premises on or next to the footpaths will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4066 ULEY ROAD (DURSLEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4066 Uley Road, from its junction with Lampern Hill to the property known as “The Coach House”, for a distance of approximately 1000 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for pole replacement works.
The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 16:00hrs on 5th January 2025 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C256 DAMERY LANE (ALKINGTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C256 Damery Lane Road, from its junction with Damery Lane to outside the property known as “The Cottage”, for a distance of approximately 120 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for broadband and telecommunication works.
