U68c Kintore to Balbithan Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

U68c - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U68c Kintore to Balbithan Road – 06.01.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 06.01.25 for 9 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the U68c Kintore to Balbithan Road from the golf club to West Balbithan, Kintore.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to telecoms works. An alternative route is available via the B977 Kintore to C68c at Milton of Fintray and C68c to U68c at Balbithan and vice versa.
