What is happening?

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER_ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000141461812: The City of Manchester (The Boulevard, Didsbury West Ward)( Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to suspend the operation of the designated parking place on The Boulevard from a point 2 metres south-east of the roundabout in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres to provide safe pedestrian walkway. The Council is satisfied that the suspension is necessary in order to facilitate safe pedestrian walkway. It is expected that the work will be in progress between the 6th January 2025 and the 3rd March 2025. The Order shall come into operation on the 6th January 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
