ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

THE COUNTY OF DEVON

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(VICTORIA ROAD & ROAD FROM ALEXANDRA ROAD TO VICTORIA ROAD, BARNSTAPLE) ORDER 2025

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

From 2/1/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 28/1/25.

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: Victoria Road & Road From Alexandra Road To Victoria Road, Barnstaple,

PHASE 2 (From Victoria Road Roundabout To Haytor),

PHASE 3 (From Opposite 2 Barbican Lane To Victoria Road Roundabout)

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via -

PHASE 2 DIVERSION ROUTE - A39 Belle Meadow Road, The Square, Long Bridge, Sticklepath Terrace, Road From Sticklepath Terrace To Sticklepath Hill, Western Bypass, Barnstaple Bypass, A39 Eatern Avenue.

Local traffic - A39, Alexandra Rd, Bear Street, Sowden Lane, Chanters Hill, Sowden Lane, Constitution Hill, Victoria Road

PHASE 3 DIVERSION ROUTE - A39.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Gas Mains Replacement Works.
