BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(ASHWORTH STREET, MITCHELLE STREET,
LOWER SHERIFF STREET, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily;

1. Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along or waiting any time on:

i. Ashworth Street for its entire length as and when required.

ii Mitchelle Street for its entire length as and when required.

iii Lower Sheriff Street from its junction with Clement Royds Street to its junction with Spotland Road as and when required.

The Order is required to install traffic calming.

Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed onsite.

The Order will be operative from 07:30on the January 6th 2025 until 17.30 hours on 17th January 2025 as and when required. Only one street to be worked on at a time.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily; 2. Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

i. Ashfield Lane from its junction of Boundary Street to a point 10 metres in a westerly direction.

ii Kensington Street from its junction with Newbarn Lane to a point 10 metres in an easterly direction.

iii Osbourne Street from its junction with New Barn Lane to a point 10 metres in a westerly direction.

Kensington Street In a north-easterly direction over its entire length Osborne Street In a north-easterly direction over its entire length

The Order is required to install permanent one way barriers and signs for one way working. Alternative routes for vehicles will be signed onsite.

The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours on 6th January 2025 until 17.30 hours on 14th February 2025 as and when required. Only one street to be worked on at a time.
