Littleworth Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order Bt Openreach To Carry Out Telecom Works
What is happening?
THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL
Littleworth Road (D6835) Esher Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 01 January 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Littleworth Road (D6835) Esher which extends from its junction with Hare Lane (C158) to its junction with Littlemead (D6835). Alternative Route – Littleworth Road (D6835), Oaken Lane (D6827) and Hare Lane (C158) or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 8:00am and 4:00pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 January 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
D5425 Ockford Ridge Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 20 December Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D5425 Ockford Ridge Godalming as extends from its junction with Coopers Rise to its junction with Hawthorn Road. Alternative Route: Snowerhill Road (C57), Tapners Road (C57), Bunce Common Toad (C58), Shellwood Road (C54), Leigh Road (C54), Middle Street (C54), Wellhouse Lane (D308), Wellhouse Lane (D308) and Snowerhill Road (C57). This Order is required to enable Network Plus to facilitate a new service connection and/or other associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 January 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Peaslake Lane (D222) Peaslake Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 20 December 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Peaslake Lane (D222) Peaslake as extends from its junction with (D228) Walking Bottom, (D222) Ewhurst Road, and (D276) Radnor Road to its junction with (D229) Mackies Hill. Alternative Route: Pursers Lane, Burchets Hollow, Pond Lane and Walking Bottom or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation of new customer connection works for, or on behalf of Network Plus. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 9am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 January 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Wellington Way (D3912) Weybridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 01 January 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Wellington Way (D3912) Weybridge which extends from its junction with Brooklands Road (B374) to the northwestern property boundary line of “1 The Heights”. Alternative Route – Wellington Way (D3912), Sopwith Drive (A318), Parvis Road (A245), Brooklands Road (B374) and Wellington Way (D3912).
This Order is required to allow Centurion to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 8:00am and 6:00pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 January 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road in specified above, or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or for preventing such danger from arising and/or preventing damage to the road. All vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route including emergency vehicles and residents.
Moon Hall Road (D222) Ewhurst Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to: (a) prohibit vehicle from entering or proceeding in that length of Moon Hall Road (D222) Ewhurst as extends from the property known as Highbroom Cottage to the property know as Greensands; and (b) suspend “The Surrey County Council Moon Hall Road (D222) Ewhurst (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024” in so far as it relates to the provisions of article (a) above. Alternative Route: Moon Hall Road, Pitch Hill, Peaslake Road and Moon Hall Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to enable ALS Civil Engineers to facilitate a new electrical connection and/or other associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 January 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Tuesley Lane (D169) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Tuesley Lane (D169) Godalming as extends from the northern boundary of the property known as “Torcross” to its junction with Duncombe Road (D5428). Alternative Route: Tuesley Lane, The Drive, Brighton Road (B2130), Flambard Way (A3100), Ockford Road (A3100) and Shackstead Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of Network Plus. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 10am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 January 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
