(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
(DEARDEN STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Utilities have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dearden Street from Denby Place to Langton Street for a distance of approximately 36 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Langton Street, Tuel Lane, Bright Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 6th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th January 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(FURNESS CRESCENT/AVENUE/GARDENS, ILLINGWORTH)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Keepmoat Homes have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle or pedestrian to proceed in the length of Furness Crescent: From Junction (Furness Drive/Furness Crescent) on Northern Boundary to the end of the existing highway. Furness Avenue: From Junction on Northern Boundary south down to approx. 30m north of Furness Grove/Furness Avenue junction and then south of the same junction to the end of Furness Avenue. Furness Gardens: From the Turner Avenue south junction to the Furness Gardens/ Furness Avenue Junction. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative routes follow diversions on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 6th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hour daily during this period.
(PRESCOTT STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Roadway UK Traffic Management Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that the one-way traffic flow in a westerly direction along the length of Prescott Street between its junctions with A629 and St John’s Place will be temporarily revoked for a distance of approximately 98 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 6th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24th February 2025. The Order will be in operation during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00.
(ROOLEY LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rooley Lane from Towngate to No. 13 Rooley Lane for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Rooley Lane, Hubberton Green Road, Well Head Lane, Towngate and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th January 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.
(STUBBING DRIVE, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Utilities have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stubbing Drive from No. 1 Stubbing Cottages to No. 4 River Glen for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th January 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BACK HILL CREST, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Hill Crest from its junction with Burnley Road to rear of No. 45A Burnley Road for a distance of approximately 17 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Back Hill Crest, Langton Street, Tuel Lane, Burnley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th February 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(DAISY STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Utilities have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Daisy Street from No. 3 to No.9 for a distance of approximately 25 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Hopwood Lane, Stirling Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th January 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SOWERBY LANE, LUDDENDENFOOT)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby Lane from its junction with Hand Carr Lane to Brocks for a distance of approximately 940 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Hathershelf Lane, The Long Causeway, Cat Lane, Hollins Lane, Broad Lane, Acre Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th January 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(CHURCH BANK LANE, CRAGG VALE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Road Traffic Solutions have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Church Bank Lane from No. 8 to No. 2 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th January 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:00.
(ORANGE STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Roadway UK Traffic Management Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Orange Street from Broad Street North/Orange Street to Broad Street South for a distance of approximately 250 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. Pedestrians to be managed through the works. Vehicle access only to residents when the works allow. All roads will be closed and reopened daily at the specified times. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24th February 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00.
(UPPER LANE, NORTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Harrelli Communications Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Upper Lane from its junction with Cave Hill to Howes Lane for a distance of approximately 850 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Towngate, Hough, Stump Cross, Kell Lane, Brow Lane, Cave Hill, Lane Head Lane, Hall Lane, Northowram Green. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 15th January 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(STAUPS LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Harrelli Communications Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Staups Lane from No. 36 to No. 24 for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Kell Lane, Godley Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th January 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BACK INDUSTRIAL STREET, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Utilities intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Industrial Street from rear of No. 11 Cambridge Street to rear of No. 19 Cambridge Street for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Hey Street, Cambridge Street, Hazlewood Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 20th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24th January 2025. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Utilities intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Foxen Lane from 1The Old Watermill to Homestead Cottage for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Lane Head Road, Soyland Town Road, Stoney Lane, Royd Lane, A58 Halifax Road, Oak Lane, Mill Bank Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 20th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24th January 2025. (HEBBLE LANE, WHEATLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hebble Lane from 150 Hebble Lane to 255 Long Lane for a distance of approximately 412 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Long Lane, Wheatley Lane, Shroggs Road. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Galliford Try intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Station Road from its junction with West Street in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 35 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Norland Road, Victoria Road, Water Street, West Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 20th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st January 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 21:00 & 05:00.
(CLIFFE ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Cliffe Road from its junction with Bridge End in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Bridge End, Mill Royd Street, Huddersfield Road, unaffected part of Cliffe Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th January 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00.
(HOLLINS MILL LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Utilities intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hollins Mill Lane from its junction with Corporation Street to 7 Hollins Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Town Hall Street, Tuel Lane, Hollins Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th January 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th January 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
