Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1600 hours until 1930 hours on Wednesday 01 January 2025, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along a) Battery Slipway for its entire length; b) Esplanade between its junctions with Ferncliff path and Esplanade Road; c) Pier Street for its entire length. The closure is required for safety during the New Year's Day Fireworks Event. The diversion will be signposted locally.
