Rowley Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OFYORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(ROWLEY ROAD, LITTLE WEIGHTON (PART)) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along part of Rowley Road, Little Weighton between Station View and New Village Road.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed resurfacing works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31 January 2025.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via North on Rowley Road the West on C62 White Gap Road, southwest on C75 Common Road, then south on C30 Westoby Lane, east on C29, Riplingham Road then north on Rowley Road and vice versa.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 6 January 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
