What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ROLLING ROAD CLOSURES
COMPTON, DIG STREET, CHURCH STREET, ST JOHN STREET, MARKET PLACE, BUXTON ROAD, ASHBOURNE

WHEN: 06 January 2025 to 11 January 2025 (Night Closures between 20:00 to 05:00).
WHERE: 1. Market Place, Buxton Road, Ashbourne between King Street Jct. and St John Street Jct.
2. St John Street between Church Street Jct. and Market Place Jct.
3. Dig Street between Church Street Jct. and King Edward Street Jct.
REASON: To facilitate GPS and Topo Surveys.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: 1. Market Place: B5034, A515, B5035, Cokayne Avenue.
2. St John Street: A515, B5035, Cokayne Avenue, A515 Park Road, Sturston Road, Station Road.
3. Dig Street: King Edward Street, Station Street, Station Road, Church Street.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
