THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE LEICESTER (DUNS LANE) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles in a southbound direction and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Duns Lane in its entirety from 7.00am on Sunday 5th January 2025 until Sunday 6th April 2025.
Diversion route: St Augustine Road, Narborough Road North, Braunstone Gate.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time of Westbridge Close at its junction with Duns Lane from 7.00am until 7.00pm on Sunday 16th February 2025.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Duns Lane in its entirety from 7.00am on Saturday 29th March 2025 until 7.00pm on Wednesday 2nd April 2025.
Diversion route (southbound): St Augustine Road, Narborough Road North, Braunstone Gate.
Diversion route (northbound): New Park Street, Narborough Road North, St Augustine Road, St Nicholas Circle, St Augustine Road.
The Order will come into effect on the 5th January 2025 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
