Clapton Road - Temporary Closure To Renew A Pole

Temporary Closure of Clapton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Clapton Road - from the junction with Dunsham Lane to the junction with Wayford Hill. A total distance of 861 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to renew a pole.
The Order becomes effective on 16th January 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The works are expected to commence on 24th January 2025 and last until 24th January 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
