Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
B4116 Long Street, Atherstone
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with North Street and Woolpack Way.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 7 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: Woolpack Way, South Street, Station Street, Long Street, A5 Atherstone Bypass, Witherley Road, B4116 Witherley Road and vice versa. Access/egress to/from Welcome Street will be via South Street only whilst works are in progress.

Butchers Lane, Nether Whitacre Road Closure
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable installation of a Bounding Box.
Order Commences: 9 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: Butchers Lane, Dingle Lane, Reddings Lane, Gate Lane, Tamworth Road, Deep Lane, Bakehouse Lane and vice versa.

Old Watling Street, Atherstone
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Structural examination works closed 22.00hrs-05.00hrs.
Order Commenced: 6 October 2024 for up to 18 months. Unfortunately, these works were delayed but have now been rescheduled as follows: 12 January -13 January 2025 overnight 22.00hrs-05.00hrs.
Access & Diversion: Old Watling Street, Watling Street, A5 From Start of Dualling South East Of Whittington To J B4111/B4116 Roundabout Se, A5 J B4116 Leave S, Long Street and vice versa.

Coppice Lane, Middleton
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install new service connection from mains.
Order Commences: 8 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 January 2025
Access & Diversion: Coppice Lane, Church Lane, Tamworth Road, Lichfield Road, London Road, Bassetts Pole Roundabout, Sutton Road, Carroway Head, Drayton Lane, Coleshill Road and vice versa.

Kingsbury Road, Curdworth
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic between Farthing Lane and Curdworth Roundabout.
Reason for Order: To enable resurfacing, bridge joints and technology work; overnight 21.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 6 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: Kingsbury Road, Minworth Road, Minworth Parkway, Sutton Coldfield Bypass, M6 Toll J T3 join N, M6 Toll, A38 Lindridge Roundabout M6 Toll, M6 Toll through J T3 S, A38 J M6 Roundabout, A38 from Bassetts Pole Roundabout to County Boundary, Bassetts Pole Roundabout, A38 Weeford to Bassetts Pole, London Road, Lichfield Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
D356 Glenville Avenue, Wood End, Kingsbury
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic in its entirety from its junction with Wood Street.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 20 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so.

Halloughton Lane, Nether Whitacre
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable installation of joint box.
Order Commences: 20 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 31 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion.

Hoggrills End Lane, Nether Whitacre
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable groundwork around boxes.
Order Commences: 21 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: Hoggrills End Lane, Old House Farm Lane, Old Farm Lane, Butchers Lane, Bakehouse Lane and vice versa.

Orton Road, Polesworth
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable renewal of pipe work.
Order Commences: 22 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 January 2025
Access & Diversion: Orton Road, Warton Lane, The Green, Norton Lane, Austrey Lane, Orton Lane, Main Road, Bishops Cleeve, Austrey Road, Maypole Road, Little Warton Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
