ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Helens Borough Council propose not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in either direction along B5201 Crank Road between A570 Rainford Bypass and Crank HIM, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.
The Order will come into force on Monday 13th January, 2025, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be six weeks.
The alternative route will be via B5201 Crank Hill, B5205 Higher Lane, B5205 Cross Pit Lane, B5203 Church Road, B5203 Mossborough Road, A570 Rainford Bypass and vice versa.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate gas mains replacement.
