(Woodsmoor Lane, Great Moor) (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary Prohibition of Driving at Woodsmoor Lane, Great Moor between Belgrave Crescent and Chiltern Drive.
Whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road.
This Order is necessary to allow annual testing of level crossing. It is anticipated that the maximum duration of the work will be one day.
Alternative routes will be provided via: Moorland Road, Woodsmoor Lane, and vice versa.
This Order is to come into operation on the 11th of February 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Ref: MM/6047604.
