What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2180 Alcester Road South, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2180 Alcester Road South from its junction with A435 Hollywood Bypass for a distance of 65 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A435 Hollywood Bypass, A435 Becketts Roundabout, C2180 Alcester Road, C2180 Alcester Road South (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 nights (23:00–05:00).
Commencing: 20 January 2025.
(B4184 Middlehouse Lane, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4184 Middlehouse Lane from its junction with A441 Riverside Roundabout/Alvechurch Highway to its junction with U31200 Birmingham Road.
Reason: Utility work by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4184 Windsor Road, B4184 Hewell Road, B4184 Brockhill Drive, B4184 Birchfield Road, A448 Bromsgrove Highway, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A441 Riverside Roundabout and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 20 January 2025.
