What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWARHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd yn weithredol o 06/01/2025 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio'r rhan honno o Ffordd Bethania, Acrefair rhwng yr A539 Ffordd Llangollen ac Erw Deg am bellter o 296 metr i alluogi Wales and West Utilities i osod pibell nwy newydd yn y briffordd.

Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt oherwydd cau'r ffordd fydd drwy yr A539 Ffordd Llangollen, Ffordd Plas Bennion, Allt Copperas, Stryt y Plas, Lôn Cristionydd a Ffordd Delph a bydd arwyddbyst yn dangos y ffordd. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Disgwylir i'r gwaharddiad bara am 25 o ddiwrnodau gwaith, neu lai os cyflawnir y gwaith yn gynt, ac ni fydd yn para'n hwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 06/01/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Bethania Road, Acrefair between A539 Llangollen Road and Erw Deg, for a distance of 296m to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace the gas mains in the carriageway.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via A539 Llangollen Road, Plas Bennion Road, Copperas Hill, Hall Street, Cristionydd Lane and Delph Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 25 working days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
