Dover Street, Tempoprary Traffic Restrictions Due To Water Works
What is happening?
Norfolk County Council TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024 (NORWICH) Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984
Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:
(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:
DOVER STREET - from its junction with Portersfield Road to its junction with Unthank Road to facilitate Anglian Water lead communication replacement works from 2nd to 31st January 2025 (may continue until 31st July 2025). Alternative route is via: Portersfield Road, Portland Street, Unthank Road. Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/ footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/ restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months for vehicular highway or 6 months for non-vehicular highway. Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention. Full details on the closures/restrictions are available at https://one.network.
