ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

BRIGHTON & HOVE VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 202**

(REF: TRO-37-2024)

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council (‘the Council’) proposes to make the Order named above under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which if it comes into force will introduce the following:

Controlled Parking Zone L – replace sections of existing Permit Holders Only, Monday to Sunday 11 am - Noon & 6 - 7 pm with Exclusive Paid Parking Monday to Sunday 9 am to 8 pm Low Tariff Long Term 11 hours parking in Portland Road.

Controlled Parking Zone P – replace sections of existing Permit Holders Only, Monday to Friday 9 am to 10 am and 1 pm to 2 pm with Exclusive Paid Parking Places Monday to Friday 9 am to 8 pm – Low Tariff Long Term 11 hours in Hill Drive, Hove Park Road, The Driveway, Tredcroft Road and Woodruff Avenue.

Controlled Parking Zone W – replace sections of existing Permit Holders Only Parking Monday to Sunday 10 am to 11 am and 7 pm to 8 pm with Exclusive Paid Parking Monday to Sunday 9 am to 8 pm Low Tariff Long Term 11 hours parking in Berridale Avenue, Braemore Road, Langdale Gardens, Welbeck Avenue and Wish Road.

Controlled Parking Zone X – replace sections of existing Permit Holders Only Monday to Friday 11 am - Noon & 6 - 7 pm & Limited waiting for 1 hour (no return within 1 hour) Monday to Saturday 8 am to 6 pm with Exclusive Paid Parking Places Monday to Friday 9 am to 8 pm – Low Tariff Long Term 11 hours in Vale Road.

Controlled Parking Zone 11 – replace sections of existing Permit Holders Only Monday to Friday 11 am - Noon & 6 - 7 pm with Exclusive Paid Parking Places Monday to Friday 9 am to 8 pm – Low Tariff Long Term 11 hours in Hallyburton Road.

A copy of this Notice, the proposed Order, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros.

All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should be sent to the Corporate Director City Services, Brighton & Hove City Council, TRO Team, Room G40, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ quoting the TRO reference number shown above or by e-mail to TROComment@brighton-hove.gov.uk or online (see details above) no later than 17 January 2025.
