What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG DRWODD) DROS DRO o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd yn weithredol o 06/01/2025 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r rhan honno o Ffordd y Llwyni, Wrecsam o’i chyffordd i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain gyda A5152 Ffordd Caer i’w chyffordd gyda Ffordd Gyswllt A5152 i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin am bellter o 296 metr i alluogi Wales and West Utilities i osod prif bibell nwy newydd yn y briffordd.

Bydd y ffordd ar gau i un cyfeiriad, gyda llif traffig i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain tuag at A5152 Ffordd Caer.

Bydd y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau’r ffordd ar hyd A5152 Ffordd Caer a Ffordd Gyswllt A5152, a bydd arwyddion i ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Mae disgwyl i’r gwaharddiad bara am 4 wythnos (01/02/2025), neu lai os bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau’n gynt, ond dim mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 06/01/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Grove Road, Wrexham from its north-easterly junction with A5152 Chester Road to its junction with the A5152 Link Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 296 meters to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace the gas mains in the carriageway.

The closure will be in one-direction, with flow of traffic in a north-easterly direction towards A5152 Chester Road.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via A5152 Chester Road, and A5152 Link Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 4 weeks (01/02/2025), or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
