The City Of Plymouth (Central Park Avenue, Holdsworth Street, Wake Street, Whittington Street) (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving, Parking, Waiting, Loading & Unloading Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), have made an Order the effect of which is: 

1. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in:

• Central Park Avenue - Northeast between Pennycomequick Roundabout and Wake Street

• Holdsworth Street - no right hand turn onto Central Park Avenue 

• Wake Street - no right hand turn onto Central Park Avenue

• Whittington Street - between Alma Road and Amherst Lane East

2. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:

• Central Park Avenue - between Pennycomequick Roundabout and Dale Road

• Wake Street - between Central Park Avenue to junction Holdsworth Street Lane East

• Holdsworth Street - between Central Park Avenue and Holdsworth Street Lane East 

The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 27th January 2025 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months

It is anticipated that the phased gas mains works will commence on the 27th January 2025 until 24th March 2025 24hrs
