What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make the following Order in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

SALFORD CITY COUNCIL
(BROAD STREET, PENDLETON ROUNDABOUT SALFORD) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

The Order will close the Eastbound carriageway of A6 Broad Street: at the junction of the exit slip road leading onto Pendleton Roundabout.

Westbound carriageway of A6 Broad Street: at the junction of the exit slip road leading onto Pendleton Roundabout.

The Order is necessary for essential works to be done.

Diversion routes will be via-

-The exit slip road on the eastbound carriageway leading over Pendleton Roundabout towards the 2nd exit onto the on slip road leading back on A6 Broad Street.
-The exit slip road on the westbound carriageway leading over Pendleton Roundabout towards the 2nd exit onto the on slip road leading back on A6 Broad Street.
The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday the 13th of January 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 21st February 2025. The closures will be in place from 7:30pm to 6:00am each night.

A copy of the proposed Order and plan of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm inclusive.
