The County of Cornwall (Road From Barkla Shop To Higher Mithian Farm, St Agnes) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Agnes. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th January 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1500, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From Barkla Shop To Higher Mithian Farm, St Agnes between grid references SW73870 50551 and SW74015 49994.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd December 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Bissoe Hill between grid references SW77530 41155 and SW77535 41195 and Road From Bissoe Hill To The Crossroads At Rose Cottage for its entire length, Bissoe. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a flooded road.
The Order will come into operation on 24th December 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 7th March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 3rd December 2024 fora period of 21 days.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd December 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Mawnan Smith. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th January 2025 to 16th January 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekends included.
Road affected - Bosanath Valley, Mawnan Smith for its entire length.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th January 2025 to 7th February 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Road From Boscawen Road To Junction North Of Meadow Bank, Perrancoombe, Perranporth between the properties named Brambly Place and Pentor.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st January 2025 for one day. This prohibition is necessary for tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th January 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for wall construction works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd January 2025 to 31st March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The County of Cornwall (Four Acres Road, Veryan) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Veryan. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th January 2025 to 7th February 2025.
Road subject to prohibition - Four Acres Road, Veryan for its entire length.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Veryan. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.
Road subject to stopping prohibition - Four Acres Road, Veryan for its entire length.
The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.
