(Anso Road, Hempstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Anso Road, Hempstead in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Longcroft for a distance approximately 80m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th January 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410252490 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ferrule renewal works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Hill Road, Hempstead Road, Sampford Road, Walden Road and vice versa (with access only into Anso Road).

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ashdon Road, Radwinter) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ashdon Road, Radwinter in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Hempstead Road to its junction with Water Lane a distance of approximately 1025m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2377147 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Walden Road, Radwinter Road, Andrews Close, Elizabeth Way, Ashdon Road, Walden Road, Church Hill, Radwinter Road, Ashdon Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bartlow Road, Hadstock) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bartlow Road, Hadstock in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 260m south east then north east of its junction with Moules Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th January 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410254188 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap and boundary box installation works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Linton Road, Hadstock Road, The Grip (B1052), Linton Bypass, Bartlow Road, Dean Road and vice versa (with access only into Barlow Road, Hadstock Road).

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Debden Road, Saffron Walden) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Debden Road, Saffron Walden in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 15m south east of its junction with West Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd January 2025 for 1 night (19:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03363755993 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(Linton Road, Hadstock) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Linton Road, Hadstock in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 145m north west of its junction with Bartlow Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction. Theclosure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410249042 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ferrule renewal works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Mead Road, Henham in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 20m north west of its junction with Lodge Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a north westerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Mead Road, Elsenham in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th January 2025 for 1 night (00:01 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL736BGK-35-44-070125 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Rookery Lane, Wendens Ambo) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rookery Lane, Wendens Ambo in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 205m south west of its junction with Cambridge Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2025 for 1 night (00:01 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL736BGK-41-30-090125 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing repairs works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Rookery Lane, Cambridge Road, London Road, Mutlow Hill, London Road, Station Road, Royston Road, Duck Street, Rookery Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Uttlesford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.15) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Uttlesford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Uttlesford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 12th December 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Walden Road, Radwinter in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 130m west of its junction with Church Hill for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th January 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410241906 -Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe laying works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Sampford Road, Walden Road, Moor End Road, High Street, Hill Road, Thaxted Road, Great Sampford Road, Walden Road, Thaxted Road and vice versa.
