THE EAST RIDING OFYORKSHIRE COUNCIL (WOODMANSEY BRIDLEWAYS 32 AND 33) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2024

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from proceeding whether on foot, pedal cycle or on horseback along the entire length of Woodmansey Bridleways 32 and 33. The reason for the closure is to enable the works to widen and prepare for the carriageway development and extension, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.

The alternative route will be signposted on site. It was anticipated that the works would be completed within six months of the closure. However the works have not yet been completed and approval has been received from the Secretary of State for Transport for an extension of the order until 27 June 2025.

The Order will commence 26 December 2024 and continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
