Essex County Council

(Barnhall Road, Tolleshunt Knights) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barnhall Road, Tolleshunt Knights in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 80m north east of its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZP001N0007403-2-KI - Gas Transportation Company). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas supply works are undertaken by Gas Transportation Company.

An alternative route is available via Barnhall Road, Whitehouse Hill, Station Road, North Street, Kelvedon Road, Oxley Hill, D'arcy Road, Brook Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Creeksea Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Creeksea Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th January 2025 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231011979 - M.V. Kelly Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce for site access by M.V. Kelly Limited.

An alternative route is available via Maldon Road, Ferry Road and vice versa (with access only into Creeksea Lane).

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Maldon Road & Conduit Lane, Woodham Mortimer & Wycke Hill, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Maldon Road & Conduit Lane, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from both of the junctions with Oak Corner for a distance of approximately 3210m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Wycke Hill, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction.

3. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above lengths of road for the duration of above closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure and restriction is scheduled to commence on 6th January 2025 for 26 nights (20:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2363725/A/B - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure and restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of pedestrian a refuge is undertaken by Essex County Council. Alternative routes are available via:

1. Wycke Hill, Limebrook Roundabout, Limebrook Way, Lancaster Avenue, Fambridge Road, Barons Lane, Chelmsford Road, Burnham Road, Oak Corner and vice versa.

2. Conduit Lane, Post Office Road, Burnham Road, Oak Corner and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mayland Hill, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mayland Hill, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 390m south of its junction with Green Lane for a distance of approximately 15m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30077167736 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Southminster Road, Main Road, Burnham Road - B1018, Green Lane and vice versa (with access only into Mayland Hill).

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Maypole Road, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maypole Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point 225m north west of tis junction with Back Lane for a distance of approximately 35m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th January 2025 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013318555-1 -Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via Kelvedon Road, Tiptree Road, The Street and vice versa (with access only into Maypole Road).

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Old Heath Road, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Heath Road, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 470m north east then south east of its junction with The Endway for a distance of approximately 10m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd January 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30095016269 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Burnham Road, Maldon Road, Church Road, Southminster Road, Burnham Road and vice versa (with access only into Old Heath Road and The Endway).

(Post Office Road, Woodham Mortimer) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Post Office Road, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly then south westerly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

(Post Office Road & Tom Tit Lane, Woodham Mortimer) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Maldon Road, Woodham Mortimer) (Temporary Introduction of a 40mph Speed Restriction) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Tom Tit Lane, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a north westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Post Office Road, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 95m in a south easterly then south westerly direction.

3. To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction in that length of Maldon Road, Woodham Mortimer from its junction with Tom Tit Lane to its junction with Post Office Road a distance of approximately 140m.

The closures/restriction are scheduled to commence on 27th January 2025 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013315388, EN01331588A & EN013315388B - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures/restriction are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. Alternative routes are available via:

1. Maldon Road, Oak Corner, Burnham Road, Chelmsford Road, Maldon Road, London Road, Old London Road, Woodham Mortimer Road, Tom Tit Lane and vice versa.

2. Maldon Road, Burnham Road, Post Office Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Street, Steeple) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Steeple in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Blackwater Mews to its junction with Garden Fields a distance of approximately 455m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th January 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M128907 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via The Street, Bradwell Road, Steeple Road, Maldon Road, Bradwell Road, North Street, South Street, Southminster Road, Tillingham Road, Cripplegate, North End, North Street, High Street, Pantile Hill, Queen Street, Scotts Hill, Southminster Road, Main Road, Burnham Road - B1018, Burnham Road, Lawlinge Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Tiptree Road, Great Braxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tiptree Road, Great Braxted in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Braxted Lane for a distance of approximately 105m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th January 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2361447 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage survey works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Tiptree Road, Braxted Park Road, Maldon Road, Colchester Road, Mountains Road, Beacons Lane, Braxted Road, Tiptree Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 12th December 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Thurstable Road, Tollesbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Thurstable Road, Tollesbury in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Hasler Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th January 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30013766016 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Station Road, New Road, Hasler Road and vice versa (with access only into Thurstable Road).
