What is happening?

(JOLLY TAR LANE, COPPULL, CHORLEY BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any class of traffic to proceed over that length of Jolly Tar Lane, Coppull for an approximate distance of 30m either side of the access to Highfield Farm.
2. Nothing in this notice shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0000 hours until 2359 hours on Monday 16th December 2024 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. A diversion will be signed locally.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow urgent reinstatement remedial works following damage caused by surface water to be carried out by Network Plus on behalf of United Utilities.
