RHODDIR RHYBUDD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd dros Ogledd Corneli gan arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. 

Mae'r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd bod draeniau yn cael eu gosod ar y briffordd ac y bydd y gerbytffordd a’r llwybrau yn cael eu hailadeiladu.

Daw y Gorchymyn i rym ar 06/01/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf, neu tan y cyfryw amser ag y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag fydd y cyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith a gynlluniwyd gael ei wneud o 06/01/2025 hyd 20/01/2025. 

Atodlen - Ni chaiff neb beri i gerbyd fynd ymlaen ar hyd Cilgant Thomas, Gogledd Corneli ar ei hyd, o’r gyffordd â Lôn Fynediad Ffordd yr Eglwys hyd at y gyffordd yn Fairfield, Gogledd Corneli, pellter o 110 metr. 

Y llwybr amgen i gerbydau fydd ar hyd Lôn Fynediad Ffordd yr Eglwys, Ffordd yr Eglwys, Fairfield ac i’r gwrthwyneb fel arall. 

Cedwir mynediad ar gyfer cerddwyr i’r holl dai o fewn y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau diffiniedig drwy gydol cyfnod y cau.Ni fydd y cyfyngiadau yn weithredol, fodd bynnag, ond ar y cyfryw amser ac i’r cyfryw raddau ag y dangosir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

Bridgend County Borough Council (Thomas Crescent, North Cornelly) 
Temporary Traffic Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for North Cornelly in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order which temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. 

The Order is in the interest of public safety due to installation of highway drainage and reconstruction of carriageways and footways. 

The Order will come into force on the 06/01/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner . It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken from 06/01/2025 to 20/01/2025. 

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Thomas Crescent, North Cornelly for its whole length from the junction Fford Yr Eglwys Access Lane to the junction of Fairfield North Cornelly a distance of 110 metres. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via Via Ffordd Yr Eglwys Access Lane, Ffordd-yr- Eglwys, Fairfield and vice versa.

Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
